SLOT.ng is a comprehensive multi-category e-commerce platform built for Nigeria’s leading retail technology brand. The platform serves as the digital storefront for SLOT Systems Limited, connecting thousands of customers across Nigeria with premium electronics, mobile devices, computing equipment, and consumer technology.
The platform was designed to handle high-traffic retail operations while maintaining strong performance, clear product discovery, reliable checkout, and 24/7 customer engagement.
The vision was to create a seamless digital commerce experience that mirrors SLOT’s trusted physical retail presence, combining fast navigation, product category depth, customer support visibility, inventory logic, and a conversion-focused shopping experience.
Project Overview
I architected and developed the platform using WordPress and WooCommerce as the foundation, with extensive customisation to meet enterprise-level retail requirements.
The platform was structured around product discovery, checkout reliability, responsive performance, live customer support, product hierarchy, promotional campaigns, wishlist/cart persistence, user account management, and backend retail operations.
